Hello, I'm Poppa John to my grandkids, and want to be a cyber friend to you! This blog is a search for knowledge and information about a better energy future for me and my grandkids. Along the way we will find some neat news, new ideas, and interesting energy ideas that I will share the links and some basic info about each discovery. It is my hope that as a cyber friend that you will comment on things we bring up, and share new discoveries of your own. I hope that together we can put aside our politics even though some information may be from one side or the other, please look for the greater good. I am a christian and will at times refer to things in that fashion, because that's who I am. He is the Great I Am and I draw my strength and wisdom from Him. Pro 1:7 The fear (awe, respect) of God is the beginning of knowledge; but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Pro 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Pro 9:9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
Pro 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Pro 9:11 For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Enough already you get the picture, so I am seeking knowledge 7 understanding about many new and some old things, I hope together we can find answers, and improve our energy cost,
usage, and make new discoveries. Hope you will Join me on my Quest.
If you believe in drilling where their is oil, that can be gotten cleanly and safely, check out a petition that over 1.4 million have signed for drill now. Shortly they expect over 2.5 million signatures. The latest polls of today say that over 75% of Americans support drilling, reported on CNN & Fox News. But drilling alone will not solve our dependence on foreign oil, paying billions to
those who hate us all the way to their bank. What if they one day decide that their is to much demand in other friendlier nations and cut us off? I say everything that works energy wise is on the table Solar,Wind, Natural Gas, Liquefied Coal, Electric Cars, Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cars, Compressed Air Cars, Biofuels made with Switch Grass and others that won't effect our food supply, even Algae is a new fuel possibility, for Americans to stabilize ourselves and once again take back our industrial power, with wisdom, knowledge and good old American ingenuity.
Have you checked out the Pickens Plan which majorly consisted of Wind, Natural Gas, and other renuables. There is a man in the next county from me that was on our local Huntsville, AL news channel 19 news (check archives) that is getting 50+MPG on his full sized older Cadillac by using a hydrogen separator, fueled by water, as a hybred with gas. He made the conversion himself, for less than $200 and when he ran out of gas the car still ran on pure Hydrogen left in his separator tank in the trunk. This is similar to plans sold by these sights.My favorite is Run Your Car On Water site.
Another neat thin I saw on the net was a new style ship that flies on water called the SeaPhantom check it out.
