Want to drive some supercars? The founder of Supercar Life charges more than the jolly old elf, but how many Decembers have passed without a Ferrari or Lamborghini in your garage, or better, the racetrack? Otto charges $5,000 to put more than 2,500 hp and five supercars (Ferrari F430, Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo, Porsche 911 Turbo, Aston Martin DB9) at your disposal--that's about $2 per horse. Or, as software developer and SCCA racer Jim Rueff explained his logic for attending, "You get to drive all these cars for much less
than a down payment on one."
The last time Audi introduced an all-new A4 was at the 2001 Frankfort auto show. As before, the 2009 model is new from the ground up, with new styling that emphasizes its width and length, and low roofline. The popular import is 2.1” longer and has a greater, more stable track (distance between wheels) that has grown by 1.8”.
Its low, wide design shapes emphasize this width. Look at how the headlamps and fog lamps are broad and narrow. That makes us think wider. Everything on the front is both substantial, and appears wide. The rear end, connected by what Audi calls a “tornado line” between the headlamp and tail lamp, is also subtly pinched to appear wider. Side views show an upswept character line near the doorsills that looks fast and improves body strength.

What Are Plug-ins?
In an all-electric car, high performance batteries store cleaner, cheaper, domestically produced electricity, and an electric motor provides propulsion with zero emissions. In a plug-in hybrid, more batteries than a conventional hybrid allow local all-electric, zero-emission driving with an internal combustion engine for longer distances.
Responsiblemobility.com highlights Group innovations from diesel breakthroughs to next generation fuels and future technologies
HERNDON, Va., April 21 -- Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. today launched responsiblemobility.com, a microsite focused on the company's sustainable mobility strategy. The new microsite comes as the Group's Audi and Volkswagen brands prepare to embark upon their 50-state clean diesel strategy, and as the Group continues work on next generation alternative energy innovations such as biofuels and high temperature fuel cells.
Several of my teammates have discussed various aspects of the Chevrolet Fuel Cell electric-powered Equinox so far; its importance as a research tool, how it performs, how to refuel it. We've enjoyed having it in our midst (and in our mitts) for the last week, and it still has another yet to go. Another interesting aspect of GM's overall Fuel Cell Electric program is called Project Driveway. In other words, putting the technology to the test in public hands.
